LkSG and product piracy - creating transparency (GERMAN ONLY)
The LkSG calls for transparency; it can be used in the fight against product piracy. Find out everything you need to know about the LkSG and product piracy and how you need to prepare now in our webinar.

On June 11, 2021, the Bundestag adopted the draft law on corporate due diligence in supply chains. For companies with 3,000 or more employees, the requirements of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, or LkSG for short, will be mandatory from January 2023. January 2024 is mandatory for companies with 1,000 or more employees. The LkSG requires the affected companies to take recurring and consecutive transparency and prevention measures when dealing with their own supply chain. This is accompanied by new priorities in risk management as well as documentation and reporting obligations. In order to avoid possible sanctions, German companies with over 1,000 employees should take appropriate implementation measures in a timely manner. Companies that are part of a supply chain should also prepare themselves for questions from legally affected companies regarding transparency and their measures. You can find out what needs to be taken into account during implementation and why it makes sense to examine the supply chain for suitable measures to prevent product piracy in our webinar.
